Our Story

Inspired by the lively corner bistros of Paris and the cozy beer cafés of Antwerp, BKB brings a modern Franco-Belgian twist to Brooklyn. Think crispy frites with aioli, steak sandwiches with mustard sauce, waffles like you’ve never had before, and a killer selection of wines and Belgian beers—all served in a laid-back, stylish space that feels right at home in Bed-Stuy.

Hailing from the suburbs of Paris, northern Belgium, and southern California, we’ve come together at the corner of Stuyvesant and Macon to bring a new kind of flavor and comfort to the neighborhood.

Our paths have taken us through Belgian culinary schools, Michelin-starred kitchens, decades of operating and opening restaurants in Manhattan, and consulting work across the industry. Now, we’re thrilled to plant roots in Bed-Stuy and create something of our own.
